ASUS router support
Network Weather works with ASUS routers. Integration level: Deep.
What you'll see
Without logging in, Network Weather automatically identifies your ASUS router model.
What you'll see with login
Once you provide your credentials, Network Weather can show you:
- System health information
- Every connected device with WiFi signal strength
- Internet connection diagnostics
- WiFi channel usage data
- Mesh network layout (for AiMesh setups)
How to log in
Enter the username and password you set up on the router. The factory default is admin / admin — if you haven't changed this, it's a good idea to do so for security.
What problems can be detected
- Devices with weak WiFi signal
- Whether your internet connection has dropped
- WiFi channels that are too crowded
- Mesh nodes that aren't communicating well (AiMesh)
- End-of-life warnings: Network Weather knows which ASUS models have stopped receiving security updates and will let you know if yours is one of them
Tested on
- RT-AX1800S V2
Good to know
- End-of-life routers stop getting security updates. If Network Weather flags your ASUS router as end-of-life, it means the manufacturer is no longer patching vulnerabilities. Consider upgrading when you can.
