What you'll see

Even without logging in, Network Weather can show you:

• Router model
• Firmware version
• Hardware revision

What you'll see with login

Logging in adds:

• Internet connection diagnostics (status, IP address, uptime)
• All connected devices
• Security findings, including end-of-life warnings if your model has stopped receiving updates

How to log in

Enter the username Admin (with a capital A) and the password you set during router setup.

What problems can be detected

• Whether your internet connection has dropped
• Devices you don't recognize on your network
• Security vulnerabilities
• End-of-life warnings: Network Weather knows which D-Link models have stopped receiving security updates and will let you know if yours is one of them

Good to know

• End-of-life routers stop getting security updates. If Network Weather flags your D-Link router as end-of-life, the manufacturer is no longer patching vulnerabilities. It may be time for an upgrade.
