MikroTik router support
Network Weather works with MikroTik routers. Integration level: Deep.
What you'll see
MikroTik routers share a good amount of information automatically. Without logging in, Network Weather can show you:
- Router model
- RouterOS version
- How long the router has been running (uptime)
- Router name and IP address
What you'll see with login
Once you provide your credentials, Network Weather adds:
- System resource details (CPU, memory, storage)
- Network interface statistics
- WiFi diagnostics
- Security findings
How to log in
Enter your RouterOS username and password. The factory default is admin with a blank password — and this is a real security risk. If you haven't set a password yet, please do so now. An unprotected MikroTik router on your network is an open door.
What problems can be detected
- Insecure default credentials: Network Weather will flag it if you're still using the default admin/blank-password login
- Devices with connectivity issues
- High CPU or memory usage on the router
- WiFi signal problems
- Network interface errors
Tested on
- hAP ax S
Good to know
- Default credentials are a security risk. MikroTik ships with admin access and no password. Network Weather will detect and warn you about this in its security findings if you log in with default credentials. Set a strong password right away.
