Netgear router support

Network Weather works with Netgear routers. Integration level: Deep.

What you'll see

Even without logging in, Network Weather can show you:

• Router model name
• Firmware version
• Serial number

What you'll see with login

Logging in opens up the full set of data:

• Detailed system info (model, firmware, hardware revision)
• Internet connection status, IP address, and DNS servers
• Per-port traffic stats (on Nighthawk models)
• All connected devices
• WiFi settings and configuration
• Security findings
• Dashboard overview stats

How to log in

Enter your username and password. The default username is admin. The default password is usually printed on the router's label (on older models it was password).

What problems can be detected

• Devices with weak WiFi signal
• Whether your internet connection has dropped
• Security vulnerabilities or misconfigurations
• Firmware that needs updating
• Devices you don't recognize on your network

Good to know

• Per-port traffic stats are Nighthawk-only. Detailed per-port traffic information is only available on Nighthawk models that support this feature. Other Netgear routers skip this section.
