TP-Link router support

Network Weather works with TP-Link routers. Integration level: Deep.

What you'll see

Without logging in, Network Weather identifies your TP-Link router and shows you the model name. Logging in is where the real value is.

What you'll see with login

Once you provide your password, Network Weather can show you:

  • Model, hardware version, and firmware version
  • Internet connection details: IP address, DNS servers, connection type, and uptime
  • WiFi settings: network name, channel, band, signal power, and security mode
  • Every WiFi device on your network with signal strength and connection speed
  • All devices connected to your network (wired and wireless)

How to log in

Enter the admin password you set when you first configured the router (or the default password printed on the router's label if you never changed it).

What problems can be detected

  • Devices with weak WiFi signal
  • Whether your internet connection has dropped
  • Firmware that needs updating
  • WiFi channel congestion (if many neighbors are on the same channel)
  • Devices you don't recognize on your network

Tested on

  • Archer AX21 v5.0

Good to know

  • Firmware version requires login. You won't see the firmware version until you provide your password.
